What is your fear? My fear is that I am not enough, not good enough. Because of this I do some weird things. I’ll do things to please others. I’ll reject compliments rather them actually hear them and appreciate them. I put up a wall. It’s weird, but it’s okay. It’s a pattern I’ve created. I can create a new one. You can too.
My challenge is to let go. At times I tightly grip my desired outcomes. It’s good to visualize and focus, but best to keep a light grip. Otherwise it becomes distracting and we lose focus on the present moment.
Practicing letting go is important. Yes, prepare. Yes, plan. But don’t lose sight of the ultimate big picture. Looking backward or too much forward isn’t a good thing. It’s a delicate balance — one I’m learning.
I am enough. I am good enough. I am worthy. I am not perfect. I don’t need to be perfect. Same is true for you.
