My purpose is to share ideas that inspire, motivate, and empower you to make breakthroughs. Imagine yourself discovering not only new ways of thinking, but also specific actions that allow you to turn insights into better results. Imagine a better lifestyle — one of progress and peace of mind.
I’ve been coaching, mentoring, and leading my entire life. Growing up I’d never been part of a team where I wasn’t made captain. At 16, impromptu I took over my younger sister’s softball team and led that team – which hadn’t won a single game in over 2 years – to the semi-finals that same year. Through high school and college I taught and mentored hundreds of students across diverse backgrounds and wide-ranging academic abilities. Most recently I’ve ascended into a leadership role at a globally-leading Life Science company, managing a team of 11 people across 3 time zones, 4 locations, and servicing 3 unique businesses.
I am, and always have been, committed to inspire, motivate, and empower. While there are many goals I’d still like to accomplish and many areas in my life I’m still looking to improve, I’ve experienced enough to understand how breakthroughs can happen.
I’m bold, but equally humble. I don’t pretend to have all the answers. This isn’t about easy solutions or magic recipes. I embrace life’s gray areas. I embrace curiosity, exploration, and discovery — the journey is more valuable than the destination.
If you’ve read this far, first thank you. Secondly, I want to say a bit more about what makes my blog more likely to deliver.
- First, it’s authentic content. It’s hassle-free. I’m not selling anything. My only motive is to share ideas that inspire, motivate, and empower you to make breakthroughs.
- Second, it’s clear content. This blog blocks out the noise, cuts through the clutter, and lets the content speak for itself. The design is at worst simple and at best casually elegant.
- Third, it’s different content. Never old ideas without at least a new take.
I look forward to delivering for you and welcome you to share your own thoughts and ideas. While there isn’t a single direction in life, we can unlock the inner clarity to reveal and the inner courage to travel our own path.
Sincerely,
Mike
